left out...
so i really don't get the hype of 'where the wild things' are. well maybe it's not that i don't get it but i don't remember ever reading that book as a child. was it really that big of a deal? was i neglected?? i think i turned out ok... but everyone's been losing their minds over that trailer all day and i don't get it. maybe if they made
or
into movies, i could join in the nostalgia. but for now i'm lost.

I LOVED the Giving Tree, but Where the Wild Things Are reminds me of my childhood soo much. I literally get taken back to trips to the Holmesburg library where I would read it everytime i would go during the summer.
ReplyDeletei practically lived at the holmesburg library as a kid, i was a sucker (nerd) for those summer reading programs where you got stickers and shit for reading. between that (supposedly) closing and bernard's closing, my childhood is disappearing.
ReplyDeleteand the general consensus is that i must have read that book as a kid. maybe i was scared of the monsters and blocked it out.
